Florida Sailing Charters

From Port Salerno/Stuart

We have a new home port on Florida's east coast. We are located at Stuart, Florida on the St. Lucie River, right next to the Port Salerno Fish House Art Center.

We now offer half and full days on Florida's East Coast at Stuart. We add these cruises to weekends and weeks to points south and east. South from Stuart to Miami to the Keys to the Tortugas. East to the Bahamas to the Turks & Caicos and on to the Caribbean.

Mimosa Sunrise Sail

With the extensive waterways surrounding Stuart/Port Salerno/Port St. Lucie there is plenty here to enjoy. Considered the most diverse estuary on the U.S. east coast, the St. Lucie River and the Indian River (ICW) offer Surprise's guests wonderfully varied viewing and adventuring.

From spying shoreside mansions to mid-river sandbar strolling to following mangrove-lined shores, hiking island boardwalks and walking empty ocean beaches there is lots to do. Of course, we can also take Surprise out the St. Lucie Inlet to the ocean for some fast ocean sailing, a snorkel on Peck's Reef, even a circumnavigation of Jupiter Island with a passage through Hobe Sound.

And don't forget for that Special Ocassion: an evening on the water with champagne and a gourmet dinner. Or for a special and unique get-away spend the night or two.

Sailing Options

  • River Mansions by water
  • Sandbar Swim
  • Mangrove Boardwalk to the Ocean
  • Out the Inlet
  • Atlantic Reef Snorkel
  • Jupiter Island Circumnavigation
  • Anchored out: Gourmet Dinner

To The Keys and Tortugas!

Do you have more time to explore south? -- a weekend or a week?

Ever seen Miami from the water? Or the majestic lighthouse at Key Biscayne's southern tip, Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park.

There's another National Park on the way to the Everglades, Biscayne, worthy of a stop. And off Key Largo we'll plan some snorkeling at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. Then a fast reach down Hawk Channel to Islamorada, Marathon, and fabled Key West.

Want More?

We'll head west past Key West to one more National Park, the Dry Tortugas, watch Ft Jefferson rise from the water and sail on past Loggerhead Key to catch so many big fish on 'The 'Hump' your arms will give out!

If a sail from Stuart is too much, we'll pick you up for a Keys week in Miami....

Call with your interest and we'll work up an itinerary and cost.
